If you sell retail orders, for example you sell soap, powder or lint rollers to your customers, then you may wish to use Retail orders.
When you mark an order as a retail order, the order will skip the CLEAN and READY pages and also disable notifications for that order.
Activate Retail Orders Checkbox
- Go to the Settings->Admin page
- Scroll down to the New Orders page section where you will find a Enable Retail Orders checkbox. Check this checkbox and press the Update button below
Make an Order Retail
- When creating an order on the New Order page, click on the upward facing arrow next to the submit button. Under the payment title, you will be able to mark the order as Retail.
- You will see that when you activate this option it changes the notification method to Do Not Notify.
Retail Order without Customer Information
Sometimes with retail orders you don't need or want to create or enter a customer's details. To speed this process up you can create a customer with the name of Retail.
